Executive Assistant, The Data Shed
Last year I started INC360 which is a CIC that tackles loneliness and anxiety in young people by providing them with immersive videos of community events, to give them some temporary relief and help build confidence in going back into social situations. Loneliness can affect up to 90 young people per high school in the Leeds region, whether this is because to duties as a young carer, ill-health, social anxiety or being part of a low-income family, our aim is to reach as many people affected as possible.
I run this on the side of my full-time job at The Data Shed where I work as an EA and oversee my directors diaries and help support our senior team, as well as providing in house training on soft skills for all Shedders. Prior to this, I spent almost 10 years working in catering and hospitality. I'm a Mental Health and Physical First Aider and in my spare time, I enjoy being outdoors when the world isn't on lockdown. I've freelanced in photography for a number of years and was lucky enough to be nominated for 2 awards in the last year and am currently studying for a diploma in UX and my CACHE Level 2 in Understanding Children and Young People's Mental Health
