Participants will:
Identify key qualities necessary for effective leadership, with emphasis on determining whether or not these needed qualities are teachable or inherent in the person’s personality.
Explore skill development strategies for needed leadership competencies.
Identify possible challenges or barriers to ongoing leadership skill development, especially within the context of their organizational culture.
Target audience: Individuals who work in the human service or helping professions who are in, will be in, or aspire to be in leadership positions.
